Our Story
At All About That Reef, we work to deepen ocean connection in Sri Lanka through storytelling, education, and meaningful interactions with the sea. Our goal is to make ocean knowledge accessible and relatable, blending science and creative communication to spark curiosity, shift perceptions, and build a culture of care for the ocean. From podcasts and exhibitions to public events and collaborative initiatives, we bring people closer to the ocean and the many ways it shapes our lives.

Our Mission
To strengthen ocean connection in Sri Lanka by blending storytelling, science, and education. We promote awareness, foster dialogue, and create opportunities for people to engage with, learn about, and care for the ocean in inclusive and creative ways.

Meet the Team
All About That Reef is led by a small, passionate team with backgrounds in marine science,
conservation, and creative communication.
Aindri Morahela
Founder & Director
Aindri Morahela is one of the first female Tech Divers and Dive Masters in Sri Lanka, with a background in ocean sciences. and a focus on aquaculture and seaweed cultivation. With a deep connection to the ocean through diving, her work centres on bridging practice and knowledge, using her skills to support responsible ocean use and amplify underrepresented voices in the marine space.
Mehak Sangani
Director
Mehak is a marine conservationist with a background in applied ecology and environmental management. She currently serves as the Marine Programme Manager at Lanka Environment Fund and brings a strong focus on strategy, impact, and ocean education to the organisation.
